Tim founded Wakeline from a long research career spanning formal languages, semantic networks, and early neural network architectures, which he pursued alongside various strategy and leadership roles at Volkswagen in Germany and China. With a Ph.D. in Computer Science from RWTH Aachen, he leads the development of the core adaptive learning algorithm and sets the scientific and strategic direction of the company.

Jan holds an M.Sc. in Business Administration and oversees finance, operations, and commercial development. He manages burn-rate control, partner and contract negotiations, HR, and strategic collaborations – keeping the company running while the team builds.

A Dipl.-Informatiker with deep experience in systems architecture, Simon is responsible for the technical infrastructure that makes Wakeline's intelligence deployable at scale. He designs and maintains APIs, manages compute resources, and ensures performance, security, and reliability across all environments.

Merten holds a Ph.D. in Nonlinear Dynamics and sets the technical north star for Wakeline's adaptive intelligence in close collaboration with Tim and the core team. With deep expertise in signal theory and complex-system behavior, Merten shapes technical strategy and guides key architectural decisions, so that Wakeline's learning systems adapt robustly to noisy, real-world data.

Marius holds an M.Sc. in Psychology and brings over 14 years of experience in go-to-market leadership, sales, solutions engineering, and enablement. He leads Wakeline’s commercial strategy, translating its continuous learning technology into concrete customer use cases, partnerships, and scalable growth models across markets.

Michael holds a Ph.D. in Physics and brings more than two decades of experience spanning fundamental research, data science, and applied machine learning. He works closely with the team on core AI research and customer-facing projects, helping advance Wakeline's continuous learning architecture and bridging fundamental research with practical deployment.
